Dr. Allan Lyons

Dr. Allan Lyons was born in Jamaica. He attended the University of the West Indies where he attained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., B.S.).

After completing his internship in Nassau, he went to England to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before returning to The Bahamas as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He holds a Diploma of Family Planning (DFFP), is a certified colposcopist, consultant at Princess Margaret Hospital and member of both the Bahamas Medical Council and Medical Association of The Bahamas.

Dr Lyons was elevated to a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians in Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2017.
